Basically, the postage services via ebay and etsy might not grant you a label for a parcel to the United States over confusion with import tariffs. However, you should still be able to post there, as long as you customs form states that it is a gift and that it is under $100 (US? Let's make it Australian to be safe).


Lifehack: go to a stamp show and talk to a dealer. Ask them if you can can get un-cancelled decimal stamps from them for under face value. If you do a lot of postage, it's a good way to save on said postage as decimal stamps sell for way under face value on the secondary market. Don't thank me.
